Vintage World War II U.S. Army Shirt and Cap with Technician 4th Grade, Honorable Discharge, and 9th Service Command Patches.
We are pleased to present this vintage U.S. Army Shirt & Cap from World War II for your consideration. The Shirt includes four (4) patches as follows:
Technician 4th Grade (T/4) - Patch on each sleeve.
9th Service Command - Patch on shoulder.
Honorable Discharge - Patch above right pocket.
The Shirt is size 15-1/2 x 32. The Cap is size 7-1/4 and has a label from the Premium Cap Co. dated March 27, 1942.
The Shirt is clean and appears to be straight from the cleaners, being pressed and starched. There is a darker area on the front, on the portion of the fabric that was visible after it was folded, which we believe is due to exposure to light or pollution during storage. The fabric is in very good condition with little wear. The Honorable Discharge patch shows some light edge wear on one side. The overall condition of the Shirt is good to very good (see pictures).
The Cap has minimal wear with a tiny stain near the lower edge. The fabric is in excellent shape, with the Cap having an overall condition of very good to excellent.
These are two nice pieces of World War II U.S. Army Military attire. They would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
