Vintage CRYSTAL Divided DISH + Cover PATTERN Germany
We have here another wonderful find in this Exquisite Crystal Divided Serving Dish with its Magnificent Tab Handle Cover.
The Dish itself measures about 11 1/2 inches by about 8 1/2 inches while the Cover measures about 9 1/2 inches by about 6 1/2 inches at the lowest portion which fits into the dish.
We have not been able to determine its Maker or Pattern, however we have been told by some knowledgeable collectors that they feel it is likely German in origin.
The beautiful Tab Handles on the Cover can surely double as 'Feet' if one wanted to use the inverted Cover as a 'stand-alone' Serving Dish.
The Pattern is Exceptional! We love its Swirls and short lines radiating from them and is reminiscent of feathers - or even many Victorian Ladies' Hair Combs in various Sizes.
The possibilities for its use are endless and are only bounded by the limits of one's imagination.
It is in lovely vintage condition. We have not detected any chips, cracks or repairs although there is a very small scratch on Cover.
Just give it a gentle cleaning and it will soon be your newest Special treasure. This is truly a fine Investment in an Exquisite Crystal Serving Dish which is sure to not only maintain, but should very well continue increasing in value as more and more time goes by. No doubt it will soon bring you very much pleasure as well as numerous compliments - and become a much beloved Heirloom for your future Generations.
