We have here another wonderful find in this really high quality Woman's Black Gabardine Wool Trench Coat. Although there is no indication of size, we 'guestimate' that it most likely is about a Size Large.
The Manufacturer is Pinpoint Fashions. This coat was made in the U.S.A.
Some approximate measurements we have taken are as follows:
About 16" at back top at beginning of angle of raglan sleeves.
About 25 Inches at back top at beginning of angle of raglan down to bottom edge of sleeve at wrist.
About 24 1/2 Inches at back waist measured from one belt loop across to the other belt loop.
About 48 Inches in Length measured from center of back neck just below collar seam - all the way down to lower edge.
The Belt itself is about 2 Inches wide by about 60 Inches Long.
It is difficult to give precise measurements in the shoulder area since the raglan sleeves are set in closer to the neck than the ordinary sleeve. However, these measurements should give you a good idea of the size.
It is Classic Trench coat styling in all of it details. We have button-down epaulettes and also button Tab finishing detail on both sleeves. The sleeves are Raglan style and therefore have quite a lot of 'give' which is particularly nice if you are wearing layers under this coat on a cold winter day.
A very nice feature is that the belt for this coat simply ties closed. You can tie it in a knot or a bow and are not restricted to specific pre-punched holes as with a buckle closure belt.
The front collar is the classic double-notched style and the double breasted style is in keeping with all of the other details. There are 2 roomy angled slash front pockets and good quality buttons.
It has a nice Black silky lining with shoulder pads under the lining.
Although the color appears light or grey-ish in some of the photos, this is only because of the lighting and the flash of the camera. The coat however in reality, is a lovely rich black.
One of the pocket's lining needs to be re-tacked down. It has come away from its seam. Other than that, perhaps just give this coat a gentle cleaning and it will surely be a fantastic addition to your wardrobe.
