This is the 1914 edition of The Blue and Gold, the Yearbook of The University of California. This huge volume is loaded with pictures of Students, Teachers, Teams, and School Buildings and scenic locales. Hardbound, the volume has 600 pages.
The Yearbook is 10 inches high and 8 inches wide. It is about 2-1/4 inches thick, and weighs a substantial 6 pounds.
The Leather covering on the Covers is in poor condition with some material lost at the lower right edge of the front cover, and the entire covering along the spine missing. The binding is loosening where the covers join the body of the book, but both covers are still intact and no pages are loose. The inside pages show occasional foxing with some darkening from age, especially at the page edges. Overall condition of the inside pages is quite good - they are solid, unmarked, and show little wear. We rate the overall condition of the Yearbook as being in good to very good condition (see pictures above).
This is a great vintage Yearbook. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
