Up for grabs here, we have a fantastic vintage Lilli Ann Coat from the 1950s.
Lilli Ann was a well known American Label based out of San Francisco, California from the 1930s to the 1990s. Starting in the 1950s, they began importing fine fabrics from France. They are well known today for their high quality and excellent designs which are highly sought after.
This coat appears to have been made in the late 1950s or the early 1960s, due to the style and the indication of "Paris" on the label.
We are unsure of the exact material, but the coat is made of a thick woven material. It is lined with silk and has a black velvet collar.
The tag reads, "Import - Fabric Of France - Lilli Ann". There are no additional tags, so we do not have size information. The approximate measurements are as follows:
Width (pit to pit): 24 Inches
Width (Bottom): 44 1/2 Inches
Length (From center of back neckline to bottom): 40 Inches
(All measurements are done flat on one side)
The exterior of the coat is in great condition, especially when you consider it's age. There are some very minor, barely noticeable discoloration on the front and back. There are two buttons missing on the front of the coat. They would have been in a diagonal pattern originally, but these could be easily replaced.
The one major flow is that the lining has become tattered, and would probably need to be removed or replaced. Otherwise, the coat is in fantastic shape.
