VINTAGE Gold VANITY Dressing TABLE Brush MIRROR Bracket 18 CENTURY Lady
We have here another wonderful find in these Exquisite Selections for your Vanity.
This Group consists of the following three items:
Rococco Wall Bracket Shelf
8" High - 6 1/4" Wide at upper widest portion - Top Shelf area extends about 3" outward. We are not absolutely certain of the exact fabrication of this piece. It possibly could be wood or perhaps Gesso. We really cannot say for sure. We love the center portrait of the old fashioned lady with coiffure and gown appropriate to bygone days. All of the scrolly details, carvings and gold leaf finish are absolutely Magnificent!
Hand Mirror
14" Total length - 5 3/4" Width measured across center. We love the manner in which the Silky Moire Fabric was placed under the Glass covering. Its Center applied Golden Rose, and all Golden Trimmings truly are worthy of a Princess.
Hair Brush
10" Total Length - 3 1/4" Width also measured across center. This lovely Hair Brush with clear nylon bristles is of course - an exact match in all styling details - to the Hand Mirror.
These three items are in lovely vintage condition including the mirror glass which is nice and clear. The only condition issue to be noted is a very teeny tiny chip above the center rose on the Wall Bracket. A slight touch-up could easily be effected if the new owner should so desire. It is barely noticeable. The previous owner had tied a Golden String through its upper carvings to form a hanger. This string is fraying and should be replaced by the new owner with something sturdier.
What a Fantastic Find!
Just give them a gentle cleaning and they are sure to make a lovely addition to your beautiful Boudoir Area. They will certainly continue increasing in value as more and more time goes by!
