Up for grabs here, we have a 1929 Buddy L Road Roller, made by the Moline Pressed Steel Company.
All original paint and stickers, this Road Roller shows some expected bits of rust here and there. The paint is the original red and green.
Some of the labels hve worn away, but most are intact. We have shown lots of photographs for your assessment. All appears in working order as well.
No major bends in the steel with the exception of the following:
We think that the toy must have been dropped a couple of times as the corners of the roof are slightly bent. Also, the metal piece at the rear is a bit bent as well. Other than these issues, we see nothing
Rather than a chain connecting the roller to the steering device, there is now a string. An easy restoration should you choose to do that.
This is an unusual item that we have been "sitting on" for years. We thought that we would make it, and the Express Truck we also have in auction, available at this time.
A great addition to your collection! Don't hesitate to add this one now!
