Featured is a R.A Tregilgas Signed & Framed Watercolor, Two Sail Boats on the Water. Watercolors alone measure 9-3/4"H, 6"W.
The beautiful paintings are divided by a white mate and is framed in a brown slightly flared wooden frame.
The watercolor on the left is a beautiful white boat preparing its sails on calm crystal blue waters. An lush green island peeks out in the back ground under a bright sky with billowing white clouds.
The watercolor on the right shows a sail boat in full motion bending on strong emerald green waves. The changing gray sky hangs with wispy clouds as if preparing for a storm.
Both watercolors are signed "RT". The back of the frame reads "R.A Tregilgas The Paper Goods Manufacturing Co Ltd Sutton, Surry".
The watercolor paintings are mounted on a thick card stock and are separate from each other
As shown the backing is loose on the bottom and right corner with discoloration and tares to the upper right corner. The frame has general wear to finish. Mat has slight discoloration around edges. Glass could use a cleaning.
Overall in very nice condition as a pair. A beautiful Art Piece that will enhance any collection, a great find for those who appreciate and admire the sport and pleasure of Sail boating.
