We have here another wonderful find in this Exquisite Antique French-Inspired Mirror.
Measuring from the outside edges of the frame, we have a width of about 43 1/2 inches and a height of about 23 inches. The Center mirror panel is about 24 inches wide while the two side panels are about 8 inches wide each.
We love the wonderful features here such as the beautiful Reverse Etched Glass Footed Bowl design which holds the magnificently executed array of graceful leaves - the charming curves of the wooden Frame itself and the Delightful Raised Carvings of little flowers and leaves gracefully displayed on this very special frame. From the back view of this mirror, and from the side panel which has 'lost' its paper backing, you can see the beautiful reverse side of the lovely etched design which appears so spectacularly at the front view.
There is of course, quite a bit of the always anticipated age-related discoloration both to the mirror as well as to the frame as shown in the photographs which we have provided for your inspection. We do feel that it is those areas which seem to add that very special touch of charm and character to our finer older pieces. This is truly a fantastic 'Find' in its beautiful Antique 'Patina-ed' condition.
This French-Inspired Art Nouveau Mirror is quite the treasure and should be a fantastic addition to your collection. It can only continue increasing in value as more and more time goes by bringing you much peace, contentment and pleasure.
