This is an English vase in black with ART NOUVEAU details along with an image of a couple from the 1700's portrayed on it.
The Vase is roughly 11 1/4" tall and is 6 sided. It measures roughly 18 1/2" in circumference at it's widest point. The fluted opening measures 3".
The image of a couple from the 1700's has been beautifully executed in what appears to be a transfer and done in lovely shades of purples, pinks and yellows.
It is in good condition with slight discoloration on a couple of areas to the black glaze which appears to have happened during the original firing. We see two shallow chips on the bottom which are not noticeable unless you turn the vase over.
The vase has 'ENGLAND' imprinted on the bottom and the numbers '608/8686' painted next to it.
This would make a lovely addition to any home, don't let it get away!
