Up for grabs here, we have 3 beautiful antique Teapots.
The first one is from Ellgreave in England. It has a beautiful floral pattern with Pink, Blue, Red, and other colors accented by Gold trim and vertical ridges at the base. It stands about 5 1/2 inches high with a diameter of about 6 inches at the widest point. It has a small amount of wear to the Gold trim which is 95 percent intact. There is a flea bite on the rim of the lid which may be a manufacturing defect. Overall condition is excellent. It has a nice shine and no chips, cracks, or repairs.
The second Teapot is a Sadler which was made in Staffordshire, England. It has an interesting Cherub with Bow and Arrow on the sides with a Blue and Brown banner design on the top, accented by extensive Gold trim plus vertical ridges on the side of the Teapot. It stands 5 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. The Gold trim shows wear on the handle and on the sides and is about 85 percent intact. There is typical crazing on the inside and outside which adds to the charm of the piece. The lid has a section of gold that is worn down to the underlying material giving it a rough feel at that location. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, and the Teapot is in very good condition with a nice shine.
The final Teapot in this collection is hand painted and was manufactured by Arthur Wood. It has an abstract flower pattern featuring vibrant Green, Yellow, Red, Pink and Black colors. It stands 4 3/4 inches tall with a 6 inch diameter at the widest point. The Teapot has crazing on inside and outside surfaces with some glaze imperfections, especially on the bottom of the inside, and on the spout on the outside. Overall condition is very good with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
This is a wonderful set of gorgeous antique Teapots that would be a great addition to any collection!
