We are pleased to present this lot of vintage Bubble Glass for your consideration. Included are four (4) pieces with exceptionally vibrant colors and designs. You'll receive the following:
Pink Bowl with Club or Clover Shape. This large Bowl has a pink coloration around its edge but is mostly clear in the center. It measures 2-1/4 inches high, 8-1/2 inches wide, and 11-1/2 inches deep, weighing about 2 pounds 10 ounces. It has a ground base. A few light scratches are noted on both the top and bottom surfaces. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, and we rate its condition as very good (see pictures).
Amber Bowl with Folded Edges. This medium size Bowl has shades of red and orange and was probably designed as an ashtray, but it would make a great Candy Bowl or decorative piece. It has a slight foot with a ground base. It is 2 inches high, 5-1/2 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and weighs 1 pound 1 ounce. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
Teal Ashtray with MGM Marking. This heavy Ashtray has shades of green and blue. It is 2-3/4 inches high and about 6 inches in diameter, weighing in at 3 pounds 5 ounces. The underside is etched M.G.M. NY 291, although we have been unable to determine what movie it was featured in. There is quite a bit of scuffing on the underside of the base and a tiny rough spot on the rim where a bubble has penetrated the surface. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, and we rate the overall condition as very good.
Blue Ashtray / Bowl. This piece has a delicate blue shading that appears to change color depending on the angle it is viewed from. It stands 1-1/2 inches high and is 4-7/8 inches in diameter. It weighs 1 pound 6 ounces. Lacking any cigarette notches, this Bowl would work well for Candy, Knickknacks, or other small items. There is some scuffing on the underside of the base, but no chips, cracks, or repairs, and the overall condition is very good.
Each individual piece has its own charm, but together this lot makes a great decorative grouping with fantastic eye appeal!
