We are pleased to present this unusual Bronze Temple Dancer Figurine for your consideration. A small piece, it actually appears to be a lid of some sort with the Figurine sitting on top. It appears to be quite old, with the metal work somewhat irregular, not showing the precision of a machine manufactured piece. We believe it portrays a Balinese or Indonesian Temple Dancer.
The Figurine is 3-1/4 inches high, 2-1/4 inches wide, and 1-5/8 inches deep. The base is 1-1/4 inches in diameter. It weighs 7 ounces. There are no manufacturer markings.
The piece has a heavy patina with areas of verdigris. There is no damage, and we rate its overall condition as very good (see pictures).
This is a unique antique piece - we haven't been able to find one like it. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
