We are pleased to present this antique edition of The Christian Magazine for your consideration. It is a bound book containing material for the years 1834 and 1835, conducted under the supervision of the Associate Reformed Synod of New York. The Book was edited by Rev. John F. McLaren, and published by James Bogert in Geneva, New York.
The Book is hardcover, with gold lettering on leather along the spine. It contains 432 pages and is 8-5/16 inches high, 5-1/2 inches wide, and about 2 inches deep. It weighs 1 pound 13 ounces.
The covers show moderate wear, especially along the edges and at corners. Inside pages have some light moisture stains towards the front, along with variable but considerable foxing in places. A few passages are underlined, especially towards the beginning of the book, and some other written notes may be found. The binding is solid and all pages are attached. We rate the book as being in good to very good condition (see pictures).
This is a hard to find book in quite reasonable condition. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
