We have here another wonderful find in this Charming Group of 6 Vintage teen dolls as pictured from left to right as follows:
Blonde wearing Turquoise Bodice and Pink Tulle Skirt
1990 Meritus Ind, Inc (Marked on back of Neck) 1990 China is marked at back of waist. We have not been able to determine her name.
Blonde Ken Doll
We have been told that he may possibly have been called Superstar Ken. Mattel 1968 Hong Kong marked at his waist
Brown Hair Ken Doll
Mattel 1968 Taiwan is marked at buttock area. We have been told by some very knowledgeable collectors that he is wearing Western Ken's trousers.
Strawberry Blonde with red hearts on her white bodice.
1987 Hasbro is marked at back of her neck. 1987 Hasbro China H-15 is marked at her waist.
Some of the very knowledgeable collectors have also told us that she is probably from the Hasbro Maxie line and that she is either Ashley or Carly - but more are of the opinion that she is Ashley.
Blonde wearing Gold Lamé Strapless Sheath Dress
Kenner 1991 is marked at her waist area. We have been told that she might have been the doll they called the Beauty Pageant Doll.
Ariel with the Fiery Red Hair
Disney China is marked at back of her neck. She does not have any clothes.
All of these dolls have been played with previously. We are really not certain if the clothes they are wearing really belong to these dolls which are wearing them. That is the way we received them, however, so we think they should go on to their new homes wearing them as well.
These lovely old Teen Dolls are quite a sweet treasure and should be a fantastic addition to your collection. They can only continue increasing in value as more and more time goes by.
