We have a stunning piece of jewelry for you today.
This necklace was custom made for the previous owner with this awesome stone in particular, as it was their birthstone.
In addition to being the stone for the month of February and the Zodiac sign Aquarius, it is also believed Amethyst holds heeling and good luck properties.
This 7 1/2" necklace is made of 14 karat white gold with a locking clasp. The braided neck band is 5/16" wide and 1/8" thick, simply fantastic! It is stamped 14K on the back of the clasp.
We have had our top class jeweler evaluate this piece and thus authenticating it's materials. The necklace weighs 2.2 ounces and roughly 1.9 without the center piece.
There is a large tumbled raw Amethyst quartz set in a white gold band and placed in the center. It measures 2 3/8" long and 1/2" thick. A different precious stone may be more suitable and striking to you which you could change once you take ownership.
