This is for a French Armoire made of Walnut that has been converted to a Book Cabinet. The front door of the Armoire has been replaced with a large piece of custom cut Glass framed in wood, and the interior has had shelves added for Books, China, Curios, or other items. The piece features a wonderful curved Crown at the top with a matching curved section on the Door. The appearance is further enhanced with contrasting pieces of diagonal veneer making this a most attractive and eye catching Display Cabinet.
The Cabinet is 79 inches high (to the top of the crown), 16 inches deep, and 38 inches wide. It has two adjustable shelves on the inside, and more could be easily added if needed. Shelf holders at the corners provide a great deal of adjustment flexibility.
The wood on the Cabinet is not perfect and has wear in places. As you can see in the pictures (above), the wear and patina add to the charm of the piece and it looks delightful as is. The overall condition of the Cabinet is very good.
This is a charming Cabinet with a wonderful curved Crown and gorgeous woodwork. It would make a fantastic addition to any decor!
