Welcome to our Charity Record lot. These records were donated to The Serenity House (www.theserenityhouse.org), a nonprofit recovery home for woman which is located in Redondo Beach, California. Proceeds from the sale of this lot are being given to The Serenity House, and will do a great deal to help them continue their worthwhile program.
This lot is for seven (7) Classic Records. The following is a list, with grading according to the Goldmine standard. Note that we have not played them, so we have not evaluated their actual sound, and our evaluation is based on a visual inspection only. We have provided pictures of the front and back of the covers, as well as the label at the center of one side of the record (see pictures above).
(1) Elvis Presley: Something for Everybody. VG+ Cover with minor creases, has original shrink-wrap, but beginning to come loose. Poor Vinyl with many scuffs and scratches.
(2) Barbara Streisand: Stoney End. VG+ Cover with minor creases, some edge wear, has original shrink-wrap which is beginning to tear off. Fair Vinyl with dust, light scuffs, few scratches. No sleeve.
(3) The Monkees: The Monkees. VG+ Cover with crease towards lower right corner, some edge wear. Fair Vinyl with scuffs and light scratches. No sleeve.
(4) The Pretenders: The Pretenders II. VG+ Cover with crease towards lower left, slight edge wear. VG Vinyl with slight scuffs and scratches. Note slight bump on track 3, side 1, that looks like minor manufacturing flaw.
(5) Frankie Lymon: At The London Palladium. VG+ Cover with slight edge wear, surface scuffs, and light soil, has original plastic outer sleeve. VG Vinyl with some scuffs, light scratches.
(6) Judy Garland: Concert. Special Collector's Edition with Photo Album. VG Cover with edge wear at top, split at top over 2nd record. VG+ Vinyl (record 1) with slight scuffs. VG Vinyl (record 2) with few small scratches. VG+++ Photo Album shows very slight edge wear.
(7) Queen: A Night At The Opera. VG Cover with slight soil, edge and corner wear. VG+ Vinyl with slight scuffs.
This is a great collection of Classic Records. They would make a wonderful addition to any record collection, as well as providing greatly needed support for The Serenity House, our local charity!
