For your consideration here, we have a set of four Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver dinner knives in the rare Persian pattern.
Each handle is intricately decorated with Art Noveau repoussse garlands and flowers on each side, culminating in a tiny knob. The theme is reminiscent of the late Victorian era when there was a fascination with all things exotic including Asia and Africa. The back of the knife also has similar, wonderful detail.
On one side of the neck between the handle and the blunt blade you can read:
TIFFANY & CO.
With the opposite side reading:
STERLING
Each knife blade is also etched with the words Tiffany & Co.
There is a monogram on each knife, R. We have been told that these may have belonged to the Rockefeller family. These are antique and were given to our customer as a wedding present many years ago.
Each knife measures 9 inches in length and weighs in at 2.6 ounces.
These rare and unusually beautiful pieces are a fabulous investment now and in the future.
