We are pleased to present this vintage Hamilton Ladies Wrist Watch for your consideration. It is the Verna 14 kt Gold Model which is paired with a Speidel Watchband featuring four small stones that appear to be Diamonds. The Watchband has a Gold colored exterior with a Stainless Steel interior.
The Watchband has a 1-7/8 inch interior diameter, but stretches to accommodate larger wrist sizes. The Watch is marked HAMILTON on the back and on the Watch face. On the inside of the rear cover, the following product information is found:

There are also some hand written markings on the inside of the cover. The Watch movement has the serial number 240397A and the notation 17 JEWELS.
The Watchband shows some soil around the stones but little wear, and is in very good condition. The Crystal over the Watch face has some light scratches and slight chipping around its edge. The Watch is otherwise in very good physical condition (see pictures).
We wound the Watch and set it to the correct time. After 24 hours, we find it keeping the same time as our computer clock. The movement is clean and in excellent condition.
This is an attractive vintage Ladies Wristwatch from the highly regarded Hamilton Company. In excellent running condition as-is, it would look fantastic with a replacement Crystal. What a wonderful Holiday Gift it would be, or fabulous addition to any Watch collection!
