We have here another wonderful find in these two truly unusual Bossons Chalkware Wall Masks.
The larger of the two is about 11 inches high and about 10 inches wide.
The height of the smaller one is about 9 inches long by about 7 inches at its approximate widest point. Together the two pieces as photographed and unpacked, weigh nearly 5 pounds.
These wonderful Bossons Wall Masks, as are all Bossons pieces, beautifully hand-painted. We marvel at the intricacies and life-like appearance they present. Their facial expressions give one a sense that they are real.
Their original hang tags are still attached.
Bossons chalkware is very sensitive to chipping. Please note that there are some chipped areas mainly appearing in a few places on the larger mask and very little on the smaller one. That being said, since the company has been out of business since the late 1990's, the collectability of these 'discontinued' items is very high.
This is a wonderful Investment in an Absolutely Amazing group of two Bossons Wall Masks. They are sure to not only maintain, but should very well continue increasing in value as more and more time goes by. These Masks will certainly become treasured heirlooms for your future generations!
