We are pleased to present this vintage set of New Jersey License Plates for your consideration. They are the undated 1957 series that were used until the early 1960's, and are Black with Orange letters and numbers. This set has small letters V and K at the left edge with 23D in the center.
Each plate measures 6 inches high by 12 inches wide, and weighs about 12 ounces.
One plate has nearly intact Orange paint with light surface wear and some minor rust at the two top mounting holes. It also has some slight bending to the metal, mostly at the two mounting holes. The other plate shows a bit more wear overall, with more wear to the Orange paint, slightly more rust at the mounting holes, and a slight bend near the center of the plate running at an angle. Both are in quite good shape for their age and would not require much work to fully restore. We rate the top one in very good to excellent condition, with the other in good to very good condition (see pictures).
These are two nice vintage New Jersey License Plates. They would make wonderful Holiday Gifts, or be fantastic additions to any License Plate collection!
