- Item Description
Featured is a beautiful sterling silver (925) and turquoise bracelet made in Peru. The six panels are hinged together to make a beautiful, wide link bracelet.
The panels have a very modern background made up of carved silver in the shapes of Ls and Zs interspersed with small pieces of turquoise. There are very small piercings where the silver has been removed.
The bracelet itself measures 7-1/4". The silver tounge slips into a narrow opening and then latches. There is a small safety latch that allows the bracelet to remain secure on a wrist. It appears that at some point in time there was a security chain that is no longer attached.
The maker's mark reads "Arte Orfebre SA Ind Peruana RB 7789" which translates to "art Peruvian goldsmith" "925" is stamped on the tongue clasp.
A beautiful and unusual bracelet. In good condition but could use a thorough cleaning to make it really shine!
