- Item Description
We have here, a lot of rare pottery by Sascha Brastoff.
These beautiful pieces were created by Sascha Brastoff (1918-1993). Sascha Brastoff, and the ceramics company he created are well known today for his fantastic Mid Century Modern art pottery designs.
All three of these pieces are in different patterns/motifs but we are unaware of their names. They all feature distinct Sascha hand painted designs on them.
The first item is a large fruit bowl with a fruit motif. The dish measures approximately 12 inches across. The dish is in overall great condition, with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing throughout the piece.
The second item we have is a large decorative plate. The plate measures just over 11 5/8 inches wide. The scene on the plate depicts an Eskimo in a kayak, in front of small fishing village. There are a couple tiny flea bites along the edge, and some minor utensil marks in the center of the plate. It is in overall great condition, with no large chips, cracks or crazing.
Lastly, we have a beautiful small decorative plate. This plate measures 6 1/2 inches wide. It depicts a rooster and a flower. The plate is in great condition, with only the very beginnings of light crazing on the front and back. This piece, as well as all the others still display fantastic.
