This item is a gorgeous Spode China Oval Serving Platter in the Chinese Rose pattern. It features a wonderful Floral design with rich, vibrant colors accented with Brown trim and a Green edge. The pattern was registered in England in 1913.
The Serving Platter measures 14-5/8 inches in length and 11 inches in depth. On the underside is an incised mark that reads Copeland Spode Imperial. There are additional incised letters and numbers, plus the manufacturer's stamp under the glaze which reads:

"CHINESE ROSE"
The Platter has a few utensil marks and shows crazing on most surfaces. There are a couple of rough spots at one end that appear to be minor glaze imperfections. The Platter has a wonderful shine, and has no chips, cracks, or repairs, and is in very good condition overall (see pictures above).
This is a fantastic Platter with a beautiful design and outstanding colors. It would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
