We are pleased to present this set of two (2) French Art Deco Vases for your consideration. They are made of Bubble Glass and feature three etched bands with a satin appearance that spiral around the outside of each Vase. Quite tall, they sit on a large pad of clear Glass that has a beautiful shine and seems to glow with light from within. Each Vase tapers from a small diameter just above the base, then increases slightly in diameter at the midpoint before tapering down to a smaller diameter at their rims. They have a striking appearance and would look wonderful holding long stem Roses, or your favorite flower!
Each Vase is 15-3/4 inches high with a base diameter of 4-1/2 inches. The rim is 2-1/2 inches in diameter. The Vases weigh 2 pounds 4 ounces each with a significant portion of the weight concentrated in the base which provides stability. They do not have any manufacturer markings.
Bubbles are visible in the glass, especially in the bases. Small lines and other imperfections typical of older glass are also seen. The Vases have been used, and the insides show light soil and would benefit from a gentle cleaning. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, and the condition of each vase is very good (see pictures).
This is a fantastic set of vintage French Art Deco Vases that will delight the viewer. They would make fabulous Holiday Gifts, or be wonderful additions to any décor!
