Item Description

We have here another wonderful find in this Antique Ship's Pulley.

It has a length of about 20 inches - measured to the top portion of the hook where it begins to curve. The Oval Wood Blocks together are about 4 inches high - including the rotating metal center. It weighs about 21 pounds.

This wonderful old Pulley came to us from an old Maritime Shop near the Ship Yard in Long Beach, California.

It came from an old Sailing Ship, perhaps a Tea Clipper and was made of Oak which we see at present, is beautifully weathered. The Metal was zinc coated to prevent rust. It is in working condition; the center spins around. The wire which is at one end was only used in the Maritime Shop for hanging. That is the only reason it is still there.

What a great find this is! This Antique Ship Pulley can only continue increasing in value as more and more time goes by.
