We have here another wonderful find in this Exquisite Limoges Vignaud Cider/Wine Jug or Pitcher.
It stands about 6 inches tall and has a width at its top opening of about 6 inches also - as measured from edge of spout to opposite edge's opening.
Our lovely Limoges Cider Jug, in addition to its warm peachy-tan background color and Elegantly Designed Handle - also boasts a Deliciously Hand-Painted scene featuring Sweet Rosy Red Apples, just waiting to become Cider for this eye-catcher of a Jug.
A previous owner - at some point in time - glued some green felt to the underside - most likely to protect furniture. We have partially lifted the felt in order that the Maker Mark could be seen and photographed.
It is in lovely aged condition although there is some loss to the gold banding around the rim. We have not detected any chips, cracks or repairs. Just give it a gentle cleaning - display - and - Enjoy!
