This item is a vintage Miser Purse in the Sydney style, with two SHREVE Co. Sterling Silver Rings. The Purse features steel tassels along with rows of steel beads against a Red, Yellow, and Green background.
The Purse measures about 4 inches in height and is 35 inches wide. It weighs 15.9 ounces. The Sterling Silver rings weigh about 1.2 ounces together and are monogrammed with the initials "CBB". On the inside of the rings in small letters is the marking:

The Purse is missing the decorative ball that hangs off the end opposite the tassels. There is some slight discoloration of the fabric in places, especially towards the center on the Green fabric. We note a few oddly placed steel beads that may have been used for repairs. The steel tassels have some breaks in their pattern and small missing pieces. Overall, the Purse is in good to very good condition.
This is a beautiful Vintage Miser Purse with fantastic Shreve Silver rings. It would make a great holiday gift, or be a wonderful addition to any collection!
