Rogers
Silverplate Holloware Coffee Pot, Covered Sugar & Creamer

This set
is from Rogers 1881, or the International Silver Company. I tried
to find out the pattern name, but couldn't. (Let me know if you
know.) Each piece has a nice geometric / art deco handle. The
top rim, about 1" wide on the coffee pot and 3/4" on the other
pieces is etched with a floral pattern as shown above. There is
a place for a monogram on both sides of each piece, but there
are no monograms. The silver plate is in very good condition.
It has been used. There are two small marks at the bottom of the
back of the coffee pot. They are about 1/4" long and look to be
where it touched something else. The lid of the sugar bowl has
been dropped a couple of times, so it is not perfectly round although
it sits on the bowl just fine. You can see it in the picture above.
Other than that, everything looks good. The back mark on each
piece reads: " 1881 Rogers 5016" The 5016 may be the pattern number.
This is a great set that you can use today! Buy
it on eBay!

Sterling
Silver Hair Brush Repose 1916

Amazing Hair
Brush Repose, has Merlin Head on back and handle. Birds scroll
and flowers. Plain shield on back for name/initials has a dent
in it. Couple of small spots where the silver has been polished
through in high relief around the shield. Also on back of handle
where it has been laid on vanity/dresser. A small amount of resin
has been appled to handle where it meets the brush. I guess the
silver was worn. Hallmarks indicate Birmingham 1916. Buy

Antique
Sterling Silver Footed Compote with Pierced Rim

This is a
really beautiful antique sterling silver compote. The foot is
weighted. There is a pretty pierced knot pattern just below the
rim. The top rim is embossed with a rope like pattern. The base
is marked "STERLING WEIGHTED" (although you can't really read
it in the photo above. The condition is very good. There is a
bit of a crimp in the base as shown above and a few minor imperfections
around the edge of the base. Nothing too scary. It would be lovely
on any table with fruit or even flowers. A pretty gift for the
holidays or any wedding. Buy

Hallmarked
Silver Hot Water Pot with Bamboo Wrapped Handle

This is a
lovely silver hot water pot. It has a great Art Deco round shape
with a lovely wrapped handle. I am unable to identify the hallmarks,
so if you can help, it would be appreciated. There is a small
dent near the base that you can see in the picture above. Other
than that, the condition is quite nice. There is some wear to
the handle from normal use. This would be a great creamer or small
teapot too! Without the lid, a lovely flower vase. What a great,
unusual gift for the holidays! Buy
it on eBay!

Silver Baby Rattle w/ Bells, Coral Theether & Nanny Whistle

This is a
delightful rattle. It has an engraved, floral design with a ribbon
ring, whistle, bells and a red coral theether. The condition is
great! There are no dents or repairs. One of the bells is missing.
The whistle works fine, but no nanny appeared when I blew it!
It is hallmarked Birmingham 1827/28. The maker's initials, IB,
are on the rattle twice. It's as I got it, so I've left the polishing
to you (in case you like the patina.) Buy
