It is a wonderful piece featuring an exotic woman, dressed in leopard print, with a reclining leopard at her feet. They both wear a collar that binds them together. Erte's graphic edition of his famous Alphabet series is one of his best known and sought after works. Erte was fascinated with the alphabet from the time he learned to read. This piece is matted in brown and black, and framed in a gold trimmed, black frame. Unfortunately, the frame has a dent in it as shown above. That is the only damage to the piece.
