Vintage Bakelite Tobacco Set - Mint in Original Box

This is an amazing collection in incredible condition! It includes two pipes with wooden lining that have NEVER been used. In addition, there is a cigarette holder and a cigar holder which have both been used, but very gently. There is also an ashtray. All the pieces feature a beautiful golden yellow bakelite complemented by a blood red on the pipes and a swirled amber on the cigar and cigarette holders. I believe that each of the mouth pieces has been hand cut as is shown in the pictures. The ashtray, also never used, has a spot for two cigarettes and is also in the golden color bakelite. These five pieces have been carefully placed in their original box. The interior lid of the box is lined in a beautiful blue padded fabric. The base is lined in a soft, plush fabric with a molded space for each individual item. The box itself is six-sided and the dark brown paper exterior is printed with leather-like textured print. The front clasp is brass. The paper edges have become a bit unglued at some spots, but probably easy to restore. The back (base) of the box is a blue paper. The top has a small stamp-like label with "65" printed in pencil. There is also a stamped mark, "Made in Czechoslovakia". This is an absolutely stunning set! Buy it on eBay!

Early Native American Indian Basket

This basket is a great size at 10" in diameter. There are three colors: a reddish umber, black and natural. The basket has a nice patina. It is slightly shiny on the exterior. There is some wear to the base. There are minor problems inside the basket. It looks as though it may have had an extra weaving around the top. I can't help with the tribe. It is a very old example of a Native American Indian basket. I like the fact that it was obviously used in daily life. We have left the basket as found (a bit dusty.) Buy it on eBay!

Vintage Egyptian Pharos Salt and Pepper Shakers by Wales

This is a great addition to your salt and pepper shaker collection. Or, maybe you just are a fan of things Egyptian. The salt is someone like Cleopatra, while the pepper is perhaps Tutenkamen. King Tut has a nice dark brown surface enhanced with gold lustre and a turquoise and gold lustre headress. Cleo is the same color, dons a gold lustre bra and a pink and gold lustre headress. She also has lovely blue eyes with long eyelashes. On the back of each is the original label, "Wales Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. MADE IN JAPAN". The label on Cleopatra is complete, while that on Tut has been mostly removed. They each still have the original corks in their bases. There are no chips or cracks. There is the slightest bit of crazing on the uncolored parts that you can detect with a magnifying glass. Overall a nice, fun pair to own and use. Buy it on eBay!

Official Water Polo Ball 1984 Olympics Los Angeles

This auction is for an actual ball used in the 1984 Olympics Silver Medal game by the U.S.A. team. It is number 23 (as shown above). We acquired the ball from a man who was an official at that game. There were apparently a limited number of balls used, and each one was numbered. It is in good condition, but is starting to show some signs of age (it does need air, too). However, it is anxious to be a part of your Olympics collection! Buy it on eBay!
