World
War II United States Military Issue Watch

An authentic
World War II Military issue wristwatch that was worn by the army,
navy and air corps during the Second World War. This has an all
steel water resistant case, luminous dial and hands with the original
green fabric strap. It also has the hack protector which screws
over the knob used for setting the time. This prevented the time
from accidentally changing after the watch had been synchronized
with the rest of the team by securing the knob with a screw on
cover. The back of the watch is embossed U.S.N. 2716C indicating
that is was a Navy issue. The crystal is in good condition with
a few minor scratches as well as normal wear and tear on the body.
Only the hour hand responds to the setting knob and the watch
is not running. Buy

Detex Guardsman Night Watchman's Time Clock

This clock
was made in the USA in New Braunfels, Texas. Underwriters Laboratories
Time Detector No. A 33940. The beauty of this nightwatchman's
time clock is that we have the key for the back! Apparently, the
watchman would wear this "dainty" clock over his shoulder. As
he stopped at each station, the key from that station would be
inserted into the keyhole in the front. An interior mechanism
would record the time and date of the station stop. I suppose
that the recording device was removed from the back for reading.
All of the mechanisms seem to be functioning correctly. It does
have a replaced screw on the front. Also a retaining washer for
the screw is missing. It is in great, but used, condition and
comes in a beautiful leather case with a shoulder strap. A great
addition for your clock collection! Buy
it on eBay!
