Framed Erte Alphabet "Letter L" on Silk - Signed We are offering this original Erte Alphabet, Letter L on silk. It is a wonderful piece featuring an exotic woman, dressed in leopard print, with a reclining leopard at her feet. They both wear a collar that binds them together. Erte's graphic edition of his famous Alphabet series is one of his best known and sought after works. Erte was fascinated with the alphabet from the time he learned to read. This piece is matted in brown and black, and framed in a gold trimmed, black frame. Unfortunately, the frame has a dent in it as shown above. That is the only damage to the piece. Vintage Tate Gallery Andy Warhol Marilyn Monroe Print This is an original gallery show print from the Tate Gallery Show featuring Andy Warhol in 1971. These are being reproduced today, but this is original. The print is presented in a narrow chrome frame. It doesn't appear to be dry mounted. It says at the top "The Tate Gallery 17 Feb - 28 Mar 1971 Mon Weds Fri 10-6 Tues Thurs 10-8 Sun 2-6 Admissison 30p Students and Old-Age Pensioners 15p" At the bottom it says: "Andy Warhol: Marilyn Monroe 1964 Published by the Tate Gallery Publishing Department Millbank London SW1 England and Printed in Great Britain at the Curwen Press Limited London."
